Multicultural Week

Date:
Monday, December 12, 2011 (All day) - Friday, December 16, 2011 (All day)

Multicultural Week is a weeklong series of activities both in the classrooms and at school-wide assemblies that serve to highlight the different cultures that make up our school and world.

Each classroom’s room representative will work with your teacher to schedule your classroom’s activities and identify a parent volunteer(s) for attendance at the Museum during each class museum visit.

Class activities are usually initiated by the teachers and parents, and allow parents the opportunity to share their child’s culture with their classmates through an interactive activity. These activities range from reading stories, preparing food, doing crafts, and teaching games, dances or songs.
